Editorial: If Dance Music is Your Religion...

Hi Friends ! 

I hope you are enjoying life on this lovely long weekend holiday ; wherever you are in the world- even Canada. The weather here seems to be showing no signs of improvement despite the fact that there is a week left until May.

This particular week is extremely  is very important for the world in general. We have tons to look forward to. It's the Easter long weekend, it's Earth Day today, and the Royal Wedding is just around the corner. 

With all these things happening at once, I am only interested in one thing - Bal en Blanc. That's right people,  its only going to be the biggest party on Earth this Sunday for those of us whose only religion is dance music. The line up includes Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Markus Schulz, Ben Gold, Cosmic Gate and so many more. As usual I have left my shopping off to the last minute thinking I would go today, but of course I forgot that the world is closed today!

In other great news, get ready for some fresh new content coming your way. On Monday May 2nd,  I will be starting a new podcast in which I'll be playing short clips of new releases as well as updates on events and  some EDM banter. The podcast will be available for you every Monday. 

Digital Deep Sessions will also be airing this weekend (April 23rd at 3pm Toronto time | 8pm in the UK)  with your host, myself, Ashae Belushi. Check out www.fnoob.com/house for more details. I will be taking you on a trip of my favourite progressive sounds of the moment. The podcast will also be available on the blog next week.

Next week I will tell you how to go about making your first demo in order to book gigs, discussing the music markets, giving you a sweet review of Bal en Blanc 17ed, sharing an interview of some great local talent, and talking about the biggest dance music festivals around the world and what is so great about them anyway. 

A major announcement that I have for you is that in a few months we will be launching our 2.0 website www.digitaldeep.ca in order to have more flexibility to be able to do much more with our content !
