Review: It's Artificial | Andrew Bayer
The summer has been brazen with the best releases of music I've heard in a long time. I've never been a trance devotee, but the merchandise that's coming out from that side of electronica has had me switching gears this season.

Radical Moves: We Love India
In the land of mystical Bollywood dreams arises an unsuspecting kind of music. From Bangalore to New Delhi , to Goa to Mumbai , house music is on the move. With the recent impact of a second coming of the industrial revolution and the modern insights from abroad, India is finally getting a break. The scene on the beaches of Goa has always thrived with its psychedelic trance and house music, and last year the 3 day Sunburn festival attracted a crowd of 20,000 party goers.
In 2007 the number was 6000. According to an article by Reuters and Defected Goa, 90 percent of the fan base was Indian and 10 percent from abroad. These numbers clearly show the potential for India to be a massive player in the up and coming years as perhaps a new hub for creation in Electronic Dance Music. We are very excited about this. If there is one place that will never fail to give djays inspiration, it is India.
In celebration of the excitement , Frisky Radio is hosting a " Frisky Radio Loves India" series which is showcasing some brilliant talent from the mother ship. The roster of djays includes Arjun Vagale, Anil Chawla, Nawed and many more. Stay tuned all month to get a taste of the music !
